Confusion on Pride and Prejudice Movie (2005)?

I thought Mr. Darcy hated George Wickham? So then why did he arrange
for him and Lydia to be married. That whole scene I didn't understand.
And what happened with her uncle and the mention of money? I'm so
confused :P
