What are some good TV shows?

here are a list of shows I really like:
lost
dexter
vampire diaries
gossip girl
the oc
heroes

some other shows I've watched but didn't love:
pretty little liars
true blood
kyle xy
(these were okay just not exactly what I was looking for)
not really looking for comedy or anything older than year 2000.
